Werner saw their logistics business unit as a way to mitigate some of these challenges and better position the company for continued growth. They ambitiously set out to transform their brokerage business into a growth engine for the future.

Our goal was to be a differentiator in the space, a leader in the asset-based brokerage world by building a world-class brokerage arm. In brokerage, talent is a key differentiator and we were juggling relationships with over a dozen recruiting companies, all acting very transactional. The Talent Solvers CEO and firm partners flew to meet with various stakeholders at Werner’s corporate headquarters to evaluate their goals and vision. Talent Solvers suggested a strategy that involved multiple dedicated resources actively sourcing for talent that fit the ideal candidate profile, relying on unique search methodology and utilization of their proprietary recruitment software for seamless communication, scheduling and feedback.

Three years into the partnership, Talent Solvers has added more than 50 new employees to the Werner brokerage team including Sales Reps, Sales Managers and Branch Managers. As a result, Werner met their goal of more than doubling their brokerage division. Today, they continue to expand across their 12 offices and are considered one of the top brokerage firms in the country.
