Ramping up Sales Without an Internal Recruiting Team


LoadDelivered wanted to drastically ramp up their Carrier Sales and Shipper Sales efforts and needed sharp, experienced employees to help them do it. But, they didn’t have an internal recruiting team built out to help hire the talent.

With the goal of adding 6-8 new hires over the next 90 days, they needed a partner who understood the market, knew how to attract top talent and was ready to dive in immediately to help them scale.

We were ramping up sales efforts and, at the time, our recruiting motorhead was broken because we hadn’t been hiring much. We needed really great people but didn’t want to wait around to build a recruiting engine. So, we engaged with Talent Solvers to start getting talent in the door without having to put a big investment in internal recruiting functions.

Ultimately LoadDelivered needed brokers - Carrier Sales and Shippers Sales Representatives. These reps would acquire and move transactional freight on a daily basis. Given the size and stage of LoadDelivered, the reps would need the skills to hit the ground running and the right attitude to fit in with their culture. And, Talent Solvers would need to deliver them in the most competitive freight city in the country during the end of year hiring and job search slowdown.

After developing a good understanding of their ideal candidate profile, the Talent Solvers team immediately started reaching out to old Chicago connections and began networking to create new ones.
